Bob Egan
Pianist/Performer
Bob regularly plays cocktail piano for weddings and private affairs, and his ceremonial music has made for many unforgettable nuptials.
He gained a great deal of notoriety for his "sing-along piano bar" at Odette's, in New Hope, PA and for the piano bar he started and performed at since the summer of 1985. He created and produced it's famous Cabaret since the fall of 1987. Odette's, sadly, closed on June 28th, 2006 after a devastating flood — the third in only 20 months time. Odette's is expected to reopen sometime in 2010, and will house, once again, Bob's famous Cabaret. Meanwhile, some cabaret shows are now being held at the Stockton Inn, including the popular "Monday Night Showcase."
Equally at home behind a baby grand or his electric piano (with additional sound system), Bob always leaves a crowd wanting more.
Bob's repertoire features a vast assortment (OVER 2,000) of Broadway hits, sing-along favorites, movie songs, the best of pop from the 20's to the 90's, and especially the great standards of Berlin, Porter, the Gershwins, and Rodgers & Hart. Bob loves to enage the audience at his private parties, weddings, or any event and welcomes all request!
Bob has also worked with many singers as an accompanist, and can easily transpose most songs into any key.
